Guzzini

Company History

Harvey Guzzini is a landmark name in Italian lighting design, closely associated with the expressive interiors of the 1960s and 1970s. Originating from the Guzzini family’s Harvey Creazioni in 1959, the brand moved from decorative objects and metal craftsmanship into contemporary lighting, where it developed a distinctive design language. Its growth was supported by collaborations with designers and architects including Luigi Massoni, Fabio Lenci and Bruno Gecchelin. Harvey Guzzini lamps are valued for their use of materials such as methacrylate and chrome-plated metal, combining technical experimentation with practical function and a futuristic visual character. Today, they remain sought after in the vintage design market for their sculptural forms and period innovation.
