Designer Biography
Gianfranco Frattini (Padua, 1926‑Milan, 2004) was an Italian architect and designer and a key figure in Italian design from the 1950s to the 1960s. Graduating from the Politecnico di Milano, he opened a studio in Milan and worked with Cassina, Artemide and others. Co‑founder of ADI, he is known for elegant, innovative furniture, lighting and interiors.
