Vico Magistretti (1920–2006) was a leading Italian architect and designer of the postwar period. Based in Milan, he shaped modern design through a rational, minimalist approach. Collaborating with brands such as Cassina, Artemide, Flos, and Kartell, he created iconic furniture and lighting pieces now held in major international museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
