Paolo Piva

Paolo Piva (Adria, 1950 – Vienna, 2017) was an Italian architect and designer. After studying architecture in Venice with Carlo Scarpa, he began his industrial design career in the 1970s, creating furniture known for clean shapes and quality materials. He collaborated with brands such as B&B Italia, Poliform, De Sede and Wittmann, producing tables, sofas and seating. He also designed buildings and interiors, taught design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, and worked between Venice and Vienna.
