Gaetano Pesce (La Spezia, 1939 – New York, 2024) was an Italian architect, designer, and artist known for his experimental and conceptual approach to design. Active since the 1960s, he created innovative furniture, objects, and spaces using unconventional materials and unusual forms. He collaborated with companies such as B&B Italia, Cassina, Moroso, and Vitra, bringing Italian design to the international stage. His works, often playful and provocative, combine art, technology, and functionality.
