Designer Biography

Giuliana Gramigna (Milan, 1929 – Milan, 2016) was an Italian architect, designer, historian, and design critic. From 1961 she worked in Milan with Sergio Mazza, designing interiors, furniture, and lamps for major Italian brands such as Artemide, Cinova, Olivari, Quattrifolio, and Salviati. She was an editor at Ottagono magazine from 1966 to 1988 and wrote influential books and design repertories.
