Knoll

Company History

Knoll is an American company founded in 1938 by Hans Knoll, specializing in modern furniture for offices and homes. The brand grew significantly with the arrival of Florence Knoll, an architect and designer who introduced the concept of “Total Design,” integrating architecture, interiors, and furniture.

In the 1950s and 1960s, Knoll collaborated with iconic designers such as Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Eero Saarinen, and Harry Bertoia, creating timeless pieces like the Barcelona Chair and the Tulip Chair.

Today, Knoll is part of MillerKnoll and continues to represent innovation, elegance, and sustainability in contemporary design.
