Cassina

Cassina is an Italian furniture company founded in 1927 in Meda, Brianza, by brothers Cesare and Umberto Cassina. Originally a handcrafted woodworking workshop, after World War II it became one of the leading companies in Italian industrial design through collaborations with architects such as Gio Ponti. During the 1950s and 1960s, Cassina introduced high-quality mass-produced furniture and created design icons such as the Superleggera chair. Since 1965, the company has held exclusive rights to produce furniture designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand in the “I Maestri” collection. Today, Cassina is considered a global symbol of Made in Italy, combining craftsmanship, innovation, and design culture.
